Here is a little update on what my hunny has been doing! Daniel went to Wyoming, Montana back to Wyoming and then to Idaho. 18 days has been the longest stretch he's been gone but it usually ranges 10 days to 2 weeks at a time.
It has been a long summer with Daniel being gone at least 20 days out of each month if not more this summer. Although its been hard it has made me realize that each minute with our loved ones count!! Not knowing if he will be here a week or a day really has made me realize how precious the time we have with our family is!
He always comes home with lots of stories. This time he said that in the middle of a freezing cold night (they sleep under the stars) he heard leaves crunching under him. He held really still so he knew it wasn't him and still heard the crunching. He got up and moved his tarp about 20 ft and there was a snake trying to get warm under him!! He tells other stories that I don't like to hear. Like when they were working on a job really close to a HUGE fire and his bosses were really stressing the escape route over and over! Makes me worry! Or when someone chain-sawed their shin..... nice. Thanks for sharing, now I have to go take medicine for the ulcer your giving me.
Mia took her FIRST STEPS to her daddy the night after he got home!! It was so cute. I do all the work and he gets all the fun!!

Mia cracks me up with her crazy personality! She is growing so fast! Last night she picked up daddy's old phone and started putting it to her ear! I got a little of it on video :) I have also got her to kiss her baby doll only TWICE but its a start.
